These guidelines cover important details such as check-in and check-out times, guests, children, pets, and payments, so you know what to expect throughout your stay.
Check-in ends at 10:00 PM, the lodge is entirely non-smoking, and pets are not accepted under the current policy.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in at Big Bears Lodge West Dover is available from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Guests planning to arrive later must arrange their arrival in advance.
Check-out is required by 10:00 AM. Later departures may sometimes be available depending on occupancy and advance arrangements.
Reservation Deposits
A one-night reservation requires full payment when the booking is made. Stays longer than one night require a one-night deposit to secure the reservation. A valid credit card is required to hold the booking even when the final payment is made by another accepted method.
Cancellation Policy
Standard reservations generally require cancellation at least 14 days before arrival for the deposit to be refundable under the property’s stated conditions. Holiday periods require longer advance notice.
Cancellations made inside the applicable deadline can result in loss of the deposit. Early departure or late arrival does not automatically reduce the amount due for the original reserved stay.
Pet Policy
Big Bears Lodge West Dover does not accept pets of any kind under its current policy. Travelers with service animals should verify the applicable accommodation requirements separately from the standard pet rules.
Smoking Policy
The entire lodge operates under a non-smoking policy. Smoking is permitted only outside the building in designated areas. Smoking inside a guest room or another indoor area can result in an additional cleaning charge.
Children and Occupancy
The lodge caters to families and offers room layouts suitable for children. Children aged five and younger can stay under specific occupancy conditions, while older children and additional adults are subject to the accommodation rules attached to the reservation.
